Most children probably have experienced pretending to be some fictional character while playing amongst themselves. To satiate such desires, a holiday called Halloween exists. The name is derived from the phrase "All Hallows' Evening", and was originally designed to mourn over the dead saints and believers. However in modern culture, it is commonly known as a festivity in which people dress up into any character they desire and go trick of treating. Trick or treating is the act of accumulating candy by going around town. To complete the Halloween spirit there are many things that need to be prepared, and one of them is the Jack O' Lantern. The Jack O' Lantern is a carved pumpkin, and is a common symbolism of Halloween.
To begin, it is necessary to prepare a pumpkin that is shaped perfectly. The optimal form would be horizontal oval. Also, the pumpkin's color should be of bright orange, deprived of any green spots or irregular cuts or other abnormalities. Also knocking on the surface of the pumpkin could also be needed to estimate the thickness of the pumpkin.
Next, to make a lid of the Jack O' Lantern, make a circular cut with the tip of the knife. But during this process the direction of the knife should point towards the center to make sure the lid is shaped like a cone; this will prevent the lid from falling into the Jack O' Lantern. After creating the lid, the inside of the pumpkin needs to be taken out. Usually to not damage the skin, many use a desert spoon to take out any flesh or seed inside the pumpkin. Save the flesh to make juice or pies.
Once the insides of the pumpkin is emptied, it comes down to the most important part; creating the face of the Jack O' Lantern. The design should be scary as possible, so people usually sketch a face onto the pumpkin. The eyes are usually stretched, and the pumpkin wears a wicked smile with its teeth prickly. After sketching out the face, the skin needs to be carved out. For this step, it is better to ask an adult to help cut out the pieces.
Finally, put a candle inside the Jack O' Lantern, and cover the lid. Most people usually leave the lantern on their porches, or at their doorsteps. The Jack O' Lantern is one of the most iconic decorations for Halloween day, therefore many should try to make their own at home.

2. Your main seems to be there are many things to be prepared for Halloween, especially the Jack O’Lantern .
3. Satiate – this word was very nice because I think I can utilize that in my writing as well.
4. I think talking about Trick or Treating in intro may damage the overall coherency of your writing and should be deleted.
5. The one change you could make that would make the biggest improvement in this piece of writing is to choose a subject that can actually grab an interest of a reader. Halloween is just a bit too well known, and therefore bores the reader.
I also love the halloween. Your hook was interesting. It was interesting enough to start the hook. Your writing was pointed in only a Jack O'Lantern. Your writing process goes very well on how to make it. But there are several things to change. First you have less powerful conclusion..You can summerize it all but you It just looks like that you are writing only one more body paragraph. Also, I just wonder how about writing more about the Halloween. If you only focuse on the Jack O' Lantern, than you can write about the origin or use about it. So if you can change both of it, than it would be much better.

He was a clever figure that tricked the devil so that his soul would not be claimed. When he finally died, neither heaven nor hell welcomed him, and his lost soul ended up being trapped inside a lantern carved out of vegetables. As the culture moved across to America, the plant that gets carved changed to pumpkins, thus becoming the lanterns that are known world-wide today.
