A dream job
My dream job is interpreter. I highly value the job. It is not a job as easy as people think. A good interpreter is not only able to master at least two languages but also proficient in a professional area. Compared to other jobs, being an interpreter gives you more free time, offers a chance to travel the world, and make people closer for a better communication.
Interpreter is not a job needs you to pay a regular time sitting in the office. If you interpret for an international confession, you just need to work when the confession is held. So maybe you will have a half year to do other things as you like. Professional interpreters for international confessions are highly paid with about 400 dollars an hour.
Being an interpreter, you have the chance to travel all over the world free. As a pre-being interpreter, I got a chance to interpreter for a Chinese who came to Korea for business. During the free time, he visited Korean's historic interest and enjoyed various Korean traditional foods with me. What a good chance for me! there are no financial worries for me.
Being an interpreter means being a communicator for different cultures. Most ordinary people don't have a chance to go out of their mother countries to another side of the world. Interpreters undertake the responsibility of shorten the distance, eliminate some misunderstanding, and break the barriers.
The interpreter is qualified to become a dream job. As so many efforts needed before being an identified interpreter, I am sure that the return on investment makes you satisfied.
